Jason Mraz Concert

Jason Mraz came to Sydney and performed at the Enmore Theatre (Enmore is a suburb of Sydney). We had a really great time and it was an awesome show, but we only took a few pictures. I'm now a devoted Mraz fan.

Sydney Isn't Fun At All.......NOT

With my job at IQPC and now Arbonne, there isn't a TON of time to live the good ol' college lifestyle anymore. But then I remember that I AM in Sydney...so it's important to make the most out of the free time that I have. Hence the following pictures:

Bungalow 8 Bar

My friend Drew's friend Bubba from Cincinnati. He was in Sydney playing rugby for a few months. Everyone loves Bubba. Especially Katie.

Just in case you forgot.

Australian Friends

Rob's friend Nathalie is a Melbourne, Australia native but lived in Charleston for 2 years. She played in the same kickball league as Rob in Charleston so they became friends. She and her brother recently flew from Melbourne to Sydney for a weekend so we all went out one night. It was nice to reminisce about Charleston with someone who had lived there for awhile!

Arbonne International

Friends and Family,

It's official. I'm an Independent Consultant for Arbonne International.

In addition to my sales role at IQPC, I recently made the decision to launch a home based business representing Arbonne International. Arbonne is a 26 year old company that provides both inner and outer health and wellness products that are pure, safe, and beneficial. Arbonne’s premium skin care products are formulated in Switzerland and made in the USA. Their proprietary formulas are botanically based, pH correct, hypoallergenic, Dermatologist tested, never tested on animals, and are formulated without animal products or by-products, mineral oil, dyes, or chemical fragrances. I've been using the products for about a year now and I love them so I figured, why not sell them? And get discounts for myself too. :)

One of the coolest things about Arbonne is the opportunity. Arbonne's monthly growth rate of roughly 1,000% over the last 3 years most likely makes it the fastest growing company within the industry. Very few people even know about Arbonne but with the sales incentives and rewards, a generous Success Plan, Mercedes-Benz program, and superior products, Arbonne definitely seemed worth it for me to try. Arbonne actually JUST opened their market to Australia so I wanted to get in quick and see what I could make of an untapped market.

Anyway, I'm actually in qualification for District Manager at this stage and if I reach that goal quickly then I could be the FIRST District Manager in New South Whales (the "state" that I live in here).

So, here is my proposal to all of you: For my birthday (August 30th) I'm asking everyone to buy a present for themselves! I'm all set for July but in August and September I will need some extra help to get me into that DM position. Here are some of my recommendations for some of you:

Hannah: The Intelligence Line (pictured at top). It's what I use and it's for 20-30 year old skin and you'll love it. You need to stop using the Wal Mart stuff anyway.

Mom and Nana: The NutriminC RE9 Skin Care Set pictured here:
Dad: The NutriMenC RE9 Revolution Skin Care for Men Set pictured here:

Friends: The Before Sun Set which includes sunless tanner, SPF, Hair Protector, Lip Balm...the works!

I love you guys! Thanks in advance for helping me reach my goal!

World Youth Day 2008

World Youth Day is the largest youth event in the world and was held in Sydney from Tuesday 15 to Sunday 20 July 2008. Organised (that's the correct spelling in Australia) by the Catholic Church, WYD brings together young people from around the globe to celebrate and learn about their faith. It was largest event Australia has ever hosted-and the 2000 Olympics were here-and it marked the first visit of Pope Benedict XVI to Australia.

Many of the streets of Sydney were closed this week for World Youth Day. On Thursday, Rob and I got to join in some of the festivities and even saw the Pope up close. Instead of squeezing in with the thousands of people that were lined up on the streets waiting to catch a glimpse of the Pope ride by after his speech in Darling Harbour, Rob and I passed all of them by and walked straight into Darling Harbour like we owned the place. We just kept walking towards where we knew the Pope was going to be, and somehow no one stopped us! We didn't even have the proper tickets/passes/identification but no one seemed to notice us stroll right on in. We got a great spot where we could hear his speech and then were able to get some up close pictures as he rode by us. It was a really neat experience.

The final mass this morning at Randwick Race Course out at Centennial Olympic Park was attended by over 500,000 people. We decided to just watch that one on TV. :)
