A little manmade beach in the middle of the city
After walking around the parklands and having a quick bite to eat at a Japanese Noodle Bar, we drove to Mt. Coot-tha and walked up to the Brisbane Mt. Coot-tha Lookout for some great views of the city.

After the lookout we drove around and tried to find some nightlife but got frustrated trying to navigate through the city so we just watched a movie on the laptop and called it a night.
The next morning we woke up early and walked on some of the walking trails that were near the lookout we'd been to the night before.
We walked to Simpson Falls, but there were no falls.
After our walk we went back to the city and walked around the parklands again.
We then showered and went to pick up our new home: the campervan! Our new Hippie Camper was a white van with big purple flowers painted all over it. We loaded up our bags into the big monster and set out to try to attempt to drive that bad boy through the streets of Brisbane.
We stopped for lunch at Breakfast Creek: At 4pm we had a tour booked at the XXX Gold Brewery (a Queensland brewing company). I wasn't too thrilled about it as I'm not a beer drinker, but I bought a "non drinker" ticket and did the tour anyway.
Pictures weren't allowed but we snuck a few anyway:
After the boring brewery tour we went to Woolies to do some grocery shopping for dinner. We loaded the groceries into our fridge in the Hippie Camper and drove out to our camping spot. We got situated, set up the table in the back and I grilled our beef and vegetable rissoles on our portable grill. We had a nice dinner with the rissoles, ceasar salad and a pasta salad.
After dinner we transformed the dinner table into the bed and had the best sleep ever in the Hippie Camper!
