Red Bull Flugtag in Sydney
The annual Red Bull Flugtag was held in Sydney this year. Anyone know what a "flugtag" is? I didn't either. It's an event where competitors get a running start on a ramp about 6 meters above the water and attempt to fly in homemade flying machines. HILARIOUS? Yes, I thought so too. The event was held at Mrs. Macquarie's Point and the day that started out pretty overcast ended up being gorgeous and sunny, so I got a tan AND got to crack up and ridiculous people trying to fly.
